Happy Mother's Day :)

To all the mothers, in this special day, it's time to reflect our loves to our moms, at the same time, I personally think that it's also time to take care good care of ourselves. You may have already known this very well, just in case you were too busy :

1. Sleep well,
2. Eat well,
3. Drink more water,
4. Do some exercise regularly, preferably 3 times a week,
5. Keep sometime for yourself, listen to music, go for a movie, gather with friends or do some reading.

Of course, there are many other things we should do from time to time such as travelling, but the above are just things that we can do without too much planning and do not cost a lot. I have also read about some "feel good" food in the newspaper and megazine, such as banana & egg, whenever I see them, I'll remind myself to have some. Finally, hope you have a wonderful day today :)

Sleeping late doesn't mean not having enough sleep, some people's biology clock is different from others, to me, the normal sleep hours are a general guideline for majority people, if your sleeping pattern works well for you, don't think you need to change it. FYI, my father-in-law's sleep hour is around 3.30am - 11.30am, sometimes 5am - 1pm !!! But he's extremely energetic, alert and sharp.

Bee, I could not believe that you forgot about "give yourself flowers" :-(.

Jenny, I heard about the kidney thingy, but don't have the detail. There's another important thing for ladies, skin cell regeneration starts at 11pm - 1am if I'm not mistaken, so if you notice that your skin degrades then you might want to sleep before 11pm. Anyway, I have read about a successful leader who sleeps only 4 - 6 hours a day without any issue, but if you are scared, better sleep early then sorry.

Kathy, I have lost my romance between the baby and work, the last time I received flowers from my husband was more than a year ago, and I felt bad after the flowers become dry, where I have to throw away the 24 dried lilies. Now I enjoy the flowers in our garden, I carry Tristan to the garden most of the evenings to enjoy them. But of course, you are absolutely right, "give yourself flowers" or "buy yourself a gift" is definitely a way to treat ourselves nicely :)
