Snow, in Grand Canyon

We were very happy to see snow there, we are from tropical country which never snow, so we tend to like snow very much ...

The snow could not cover the great canyon, it's so huge ...

There's a hotel at the top in the picture below (top right), there are other hotels too around this area, it's convenient to stay here but we didn't manage to make a reservation.

The weather was cooling. The sun was not too strong but very bright, it was so pleasant to be there ...

Can you believe it, I have been to Utah and Nevada but never had the time to visit the Grand Canyon...

Nice pictures Bee. I wish I had visited the Grand Canyon while I was in the US. Wonder if I could have driven there from Pleasanton :-)

Hello Shantanu, good to see you again :) Yeah, sometimes we just had to make a pass on some great places due to time constraint, but hey, you can still go in future :)

Hey Ben, great to see your comment :) Yes you can drive from Pleasanton, but it will take more than 10 hours :)

Nice series of posts on holiday travels there. I wished I could visit Grand Canyon as its one of those "must-see-before-I-die" places in my list. The other would be the rockies in Canada or US and Alaska.

Hello Cool Insider, I like your comment ""must-see-before-I-die", I didn't manage to visit The Rockies & Alaska, those are the 2 places I wish to visit so much.

Hi i.f, agreed that Switzerland has the most wonderful snow that I have seen so far :)

Kuanhoong, wish your dream comes true very soon :)
